Life of A Dummy - Short Film

Motion Capture and Realtime Rendering - Work In Progress (WIP)

Synopsis: A journey into the career and struggles of a car crash dummy

Goal: Making an aesthetically pleasing film woven with the cutting-edge technology. Creating a meaningful co-op/work for the students involved. Promoting the unique qualities of RIT especially related to students education and the technological features. Disseminating to film festivals worldwide. Gathering a significant amount of research and study cases for correlated classes and interested students and faculty members. Publishing paper/s related to three process and experience.

Elemental Trilogy

Capturing the dance of the three elements of Water, Sand and Air - (WIP)

Process: Capturing the mesmerizing disturbances and turbulences between water and sand, powered by the magic of air

Videography: Using super close-up Macro lenses, while experimenting with lighting and thematic atmospheres

Smokey Music Experimental (WIP)

Short film with smoke reacting to music rhythms and beats

Process: Professor Ted Kinsman (School of Photographic Arts and Sciences - RIT) crafted a setup that causes smoke to react to music fed to the machine.

With the rhythmic composition by Michael Schiess’s the result was entertaining.

Videography: Professor Ted’s setup allows a perfect capturing of the smoke’s silky and wild movement, offering a range of editing potentials

VR Color and Composition Experimental Film (WIP)

Short film with smoke reacting to music rhythms and beats

Process: Creating a film in Virtual Reality using the software Tilt Brush, with animated brushes reacting to music track

Videography: With the advancement of Tilt Brush, now there are enough camera options that allow more meaningful control over the cinematography. Some shots might be shot hand-held with the joystick as well.
